Fruit Ninja
Fruit Ninja offers simple yet addictive gameplay that's easy to learn but challenging to master. Here's how to play:
Game Modes
Classic Mode: Slice as many fruits as possible while avoiding bombs. You have three lives - each bomb hit costs one life. The game ends when you lose all lives or miss too many fruits.
Zen Mode: A relaxing 90-second session with no bombs. Perfect for beginners or when you just want to enjoy slicing without the pressure of bombs.
Arcade Mode: An action-packed 60-second round where you aim to get the highest score. Special power-up bananas appear that can freeze time, double points, or trigger fruit frenzies.
Scoring System
- Each sliced fruit: 1 point
- Combo slices (multiple fruits with one swipe): Bonus points
- Critical hits (slicing precisely in the middle): Extra points
- Special fruits: Varying bonus points
- Power-ups: Score multipliers or additional time
As you progress, the game speeds up, throwing more fruits and bombs simultaneously, requiring quicker reflexes and better strategic planning of your swipes!
Fruit Ninja features intuitive controls designed for both desktop and mobile play:
Desktop Controls:
- Mouse Movement + Click and Drag: Slice fruits by clicking and dragging your mouse across the screen
- Mouse Sensitivity: Adjust in settings for more precise slicing
- Esc Key: Pause the game
Mobile/Touch Controls:
- Finger Swipe: Slice fruits by swiping your finger across the screen
- Multi-touch: Use multiple fingers for complex combinations and higher combos
- Two-finger Tap: Pause the game
For the best experience, make swift, clean swipes through the center of fruits. Accuracy matters more than speed, especially when bombs are present. You can also click the fullscreen button in the top right to enjoy the game in immersive fullscreen mode.

- Starfruit: Awards extra points
- Dragonfruit: Appears in special events and grants bonus points
- Pomegranate: Breaks into multiple sliceable segments for combo opportunities
- Special event fruits: Seasonal fruits that appear during holidays with unique effects and point values
Zen Mode: A relaxing 90-second session with no bombs—perfect for practice or casual play.
Arcade Mode: A fast-paced 60-second round with special banana power-ups but no game-ending bombs. Focus is on achieving the highest possible score within the time limit.
