Hextris is easy to learn but challenging to master:

  2. Rotate the hexagon to position the falling blocks in optimal locations
  3. Match three or more blocks of the same color to clear them and earn points
  4. You lose when any stack of blocks reaches the center of the hexagon
  5. As your score increases, the game speeds up, making it progressively more challenging

How do I get a high score in Hextris?
Focus on creating combos by clearing multiple sets of blocks in quick succession. Try to distribute blocks evenly around the hexagon rather than letting them stack up on one side. Keep an eye on all sides of the hexagon and plan a few moves ahead. The longer you play, the faster the blocks will fall, so quick reflexes become increasingly important.
What are the different block colors and do they matter?
Hextris features several different colored blocks. The colors themselves don't have different properties, but you need to match three or more of the same color to clear them. As you progress, you'll encounter more color variations which can make matching more challenging.
Can I save my progress in Hextris?
Hextris automatically saves your high score to your browser's local storage. While you can't save a game in progress and return to it later, your high score will remain across game sessions until you clear your browser data.
How do I share my score with friends?
After a game ends, Hextris provides options to share your score on social media platforms like Twitter or Facebook. You can also take a screenshot of your final score screen to share with friends. Some versions of the game may include direct sharing links that generate a post with your score.
