FAQ
Mini Golf Online is easy to learn but challenging to master:
- Select a course or level to begin playing
- Position your aim by clicking and dragging to set the direction
- Adjust the power of your shot by dragging backwards (the longer the drag, the more power)
- Release to take your shot
- Try to get the ball into the hole in as few strokes as possible
- Navigate around obstacles such as water hazards, sand traps, hills, and moving platforms
- Complete all holes in a course to unlock the next course
- Achieve par or better on each hole for the highest score
The golf scoring system applies: completing a hole in fewer strokes than par earns you a birdie (-1) or eagle (-2), while taking more strokes results in a bogey (+1) or worse. Plan your shots carefully and consider the terrain to achieve the best scores!

How do I unlock more courses?
To unlock additional courses, you need to complete the currently available courses with a certain performance level. Usually, this requires finishing all holes in a course with a total score at or below par. Some courses may require achieving specific achievements or collecting special items hidden throughout the levels.
What do the different terrain types mean?
Different surfaces affect how your ball rolls and bounces. Green surfaces are standard and offer normal ball movement. Sand traps slow down your ball significantly. Water hazards reset your ball with a penalty stroke if your ball falls in. Rough grass slows your ball slightly. Slopes will cause your ball to roll downhill based on the terrain angle.
My ball is stuck in an impossible position. What can I do?
If your ball gets stuck in a position where you can't hit it or it's impossible to proceed, you can use the "Restart Hole" button. Note that this will add a penalty stroke to your score. If the issue persists or appears to be a game bug, try refreshing the page, though this may reset your progress on the current course.
Can I play against friends or other players?
Mini Golf Online primarily offers single-player gameplay where you can challenge yourself to achieve the best scores. Some versions may include local multiplayer where you can take turns with friends on the same device. Check the game menu for any multiplayer options that might be available in your version of the game.
